Italy's Resources

Italy has vast amounts of resources that help this country create great wealth within its boarders and has help flourish the lives of Italian citizens. 

There are four resource categories in which make up Italy's economy:

Land: Natural Resources include coal, mercury, zinc,potash, marble, crude oil, natural gas, and fish with a coastline that stretches 7,600 km.
Italy benefits from their coastline for the fishing industry it creates and with all the natural resources is able to produce manufactured goods. 

Labor: Italy has a labor force of 24.97 million people making it a country with a high industrial society. The people of Italy work in industries such as tourism, machinery, iron and steel, chemicals, food processing, textiles. Workers in Italy are skilled at their work do to the level of education they receive. Of the Italian population 98.4% of people can read and write, with 16 years of schooling for males and 17 years for females. This means their is a highly intelligent work force with knowledge 

Capital: The industries of Italy are machinery, iron and steel, chemicals, food processing, and textiles. These are vast industries create economic wealth. 

Entrepreneurial Ability: Italy is 74th on the economic freedom scale, this puts them in the moderatly  free section. The government of Italy has say in the rules and regulations in which a company conducts business in this country more so than the United States.
